Ending HIV Criminalization and Stigma

HIV criminalization – the use of criminal law to penalize people living with HIV for conduct that would be indisputably legal if they did not get tested or know their status – has generated considerable public attention, according to Radio Free Georgia (WRFG 89.3 FM) in Atlanta, Georgia. On February 27, 2014, WRFG's radio host, Dazon Dixon Diallo from Sister Love, discussed HIV criminalization and stigma with CHLP's Executive Director, Catherine Hanssens, and Legal Director, Ivan Espinoza-Madrigal.
