Attorney Sign Up for the HIV Legal Collaborative Directory

The HIV Legal Collaborative (HLC) is a national network of attorneys interested in assisting CHLP in advocacy on behalf of PLWHA. HLC attorneys agree to provide assistance on one or more types of tasks involving varying levels of time and commitment. Possible activities could include: advising CHLP staff on local practice in the attorney's area of expertise, serving as a point of contact for a case we are tracking, reviewing draft publications and other documents, counseling PLWHA with legal questions, drafting amicus briefs, and actual representation.

CHLP provides each new member of the HLC with a packet containing general, medical and scientific information relevant to attorneys representing PLWHA in discrimination, criminalization and other issues. We also provide regular updates on new additions to our Resource Bank and project developments.
