Attorney Directory Sign Up Form for the HIV Legal Collaborative
The Center for HIV Law and Policy, through our HIV Legal Collaborative, identifies and supports attorneys that are sensitive to HIV-related issues across the United States. We're looking for lawyers from all practice areas and all regions, but are especially interested in lawyers able to represent or advise on criminal, employment, and housing issues, and lawyers in rural and underserved areas, particularly in the South.
HIV coexists with many legal needs- some poverty related, some illness related, some discrimination related. While the South has seen a huge increase in HIV infections, there has been no parallel increase in services, particularly legal services. We are finding, and supporting with publications, research, and counseling, attorneys throughout the country who are already doing HIV-related legal work, or are interested in learning.
We would like to know that you are out there so that we can connect you with individuals who need help, connect you with other attorneys, and provide you with resources tailored to your needs.
If you are an attorney who is HIV and LGBTQ friendly, and either familiar with how HIV interacts with your area of law or willing to learn with our support, please take a minute to fill out the form at the link.
