This state-by-state directory provides descriptions and contact information for organizations that provide HIV-specific legal services, either in house or by referral, and other organizations that may serve as a starting point for accessing legal assistance. The purpose of this directory is to assist persons affected by HIV or AIDS who are seeking legal services, provide sources of information concerning how to develop pro bono programs focusing on legal issues related to the epidemic, and be a resource for attorneys seeking to become involved with pro bono representation in these areas.
