CHLP Executive Director S. Mandisa Moore-O'Neal and Staff Attorney Jada Hicks are presenting at AIDSWatch in Washington D.C.
On Sunday, March 17, Mandisa will participate in the Molecular HIV Surveillance Institute: Advocating for Change, End Criminalization. Co-presenters include SERO's Kamaria Laffrey, National Working Positive Coalition’s Martha Cameron, and Positive Women's Network - USA’s Barb Cardell.
On Monday, March 18, Jada will participate in a workshop on HIV criminalization reform entitled, Addressing Structural Interventions to End the HIV Epidemic. Co-presenters include Christine Soyong Harley, SIECUS; Cole Boyt, Health Plus IN & HMM-Indiana, and Dr. Daniel D. Driffin, THRIVE SS & HIV Vaccine Trials Network.
Each year AIDSWatch brings together hundreds of people living with HIV and their allies in Washington, D.C., to learn about the latest policy issues, messaging strategy, and advocacy tactics. AIDSWatch is hosted by AIDS United, in partnership with the US People Living with HIV Caucus and the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation.
