Thriving, Resilient, and Empowered: Healthy Aging with HIV
The New York City Health Department is hosting Thriving, Resilient, and Empowered: Healthy Aging with HIV, an event for community members and health service providers in celebration of National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day. CHLP Staff Attorney Kae Greenberg will be leading a presentation on the legal landscape for people aging with HIV, with an emphasis on advanced planning and financial needs.
Discussions and presentations on:
- The current landscape of care for people aging with HIV, including managing multiple medications and sexual health
- Current policy and advocacy efforts relevant to people aging with HIV
- Supportive services such as nutrition, financial planning, and legal services

Participating organizations include: African Services Committee, Alliance for Positive Change, CAMBA Nutrition services, The Center for HIV Law and Policy, Iris House, Latino Commission on AIDS, The Legal Aid Society, The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center, NYC Condom Availability Program, Translatinx Network, and Voces Latinas.
