CHLP Speaks at First Annual Funders Concerned About AIDS Conference (2009)

On September 16-18, 2009, CHLP took part in the first annual Funders Concerned About AIDS (FCAA) Conference for more than 130 HIV philanthropic professionals in Washington, D.C. CHLP's Executive Director, Catherine Hanssens, presented on the creation and use of CHLP's online Resource Bank as part of a three-hour panel convened to consider innovative uses of media and technology for advocacy against stigma, discrimination and criminalization; for effective prevention messaging; for engaging public and political support; and to efficiently leverage resources in lean times.
