Law Enforcement Plays A Key Role in Ending HIV criminalization

The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), a PJP Organizational Member, is hosting its' 37th Annual National Training Conference and Exhibition in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 3-7. During the conference, Rashida Richardson, CHLP Staff Attorney and PJP State Advocacy Chair, will present on HIV criminalization focusing on how law enforcement professionals can participate in advocacy efforts in their state. NOBLE is also showcasing Spit Does Not Transmit, a factsheet about the actual transmission risk law enforcement professionals in the line of duty, in their conference materials. CHLP, NOBLE, and the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys published the Spit Does Not Transmit factsheet in March 2013.
