Over the next ten years, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (the final health care reform package passed in the United States in March, 2010) will phase in a number of improvements in the affordability of health insurance and access to quality health care. This chart provides a summary of key improvements affecting adults, and a timeline for their implementation under the new federal law.
