HIV Media Guidance, Equality Federation (2024)
Equality Federation has created new guidance for reporters and media outlets on how to report on HIV in a fair, unbiased, and ethical way. This guidance is LGBTQ+ inclusive and rooted in the values of justice and equity, self-determination, ending stigma, and centering the leadership of directly affected people. It is particularly intended for state-level political reporters who may be unfamiliar with HIV and/or LGBTQ+ communities, but will be useful for anyone writing and communicating about HIV.
