Richard Roe v. City of Atlanta, 12-R-1371. (2012)
This is a resolution by the Public Safety and Legal Administration Committee of the City of Atlanta authorizing a monetary settlement of $250,000 for an HIV-positive man who alleged employment discrimination on the basis of his disability. Specifically, the man alleged discrimination in connection with his application for employment with the City of Atlanta.
The agreement's terms dictate that the settlement serves to settle all outstanding claims against the City of Atlanta.
