Teen SENSE Testimony Before the New York City Council on Sexual and Reproductive Health Care for Young Women in State Custody (2014)
The New York City Council's Committees on Juvenile Justice and Women's Issues held a joint hearing on June 17, 2014, on sexual and reproductive health care for young women in state custody. At the hearing, CHLP Staff Attorney and Teen SENSE Coordinator, Adrian Guzman, testified about how increasing young people's sexual health knowledge and ensuring access to sexual health services and programming are critical prevention strategies that can help stop sexual violence before it is perpetrated.
