U.S. Organizations Speak Out on Women and HIV to Inform Health Policy and National AIDS Strategy, Press Release, The Center for HIV Law & Policy (CHLP), CHANGE, ICW, WORLD (2009)
The Center for HIV Law and Policy (CHLP), along with thirteen other organizations working to advance the health and rights of women living with HIV in the United States, sent a series of policy directives to the Office of National AIDS Policy and related federal agencies. Announcing the publication and distribution of the policy recommendations, this press release explains why the report was necessary and how policy makers can use the report to effect change that supports women living with HIV.
