Equality Federation Institute's 2024 Leadership Conference
On Wednesday, July 31, CHLP Executive Director S. Mandisa Moore-O'Neal will participate in the workshop "How HIV Criminalization is the Embodiment of Mass Incarceration and Racism" at the Equality Federation Institute's 2024 Leadership Conference in Portland, Oregon.
Mandisa also attended and participated in the Q&A at the Lunch Plenary, Frontlines and Forward Action: Black & LGBTQ+ leaders chart a new course on decriminalizing HIV domestically and globally (see 1:03:50), with speakers Philip Westry, Free State Justice; Kris Fair, Maryland State Delegate; Nicole McAfee, Freedom Oklahoma; Mauree Turner, Oklahoma State Representative; Robert Suttle, Global Advisory Panel of HIV Justice Network; and moderator Fran Hutchins, Equality Federation.
