CHLP joins the Legal Action Center in co-organizing New Pride Agenda’s Annual TGNC Advocacy Day: Protecting Progress, Advancing Protections. On Monday, May 19, Policy and Advocacy Manager Amir Sadeghi will be in Albany to meet with New York State lawmakers and demand action on critical legislation that protects our rights and our lives.

As federal hostility rises, the fight for dignity, safety, and equality in New York State is more urgent than ever. This year, we’re pushing forward two urgent priorities:

– Repeal STI Discrimination Act – Ending harmful criminalization of HIV+ and STI status in public health laws

– Shield Law 2.0 – Expanding legal protections for providers and seekers of gender-affirming and reproductive care

Join us as we rally, speak out, and demand stronger protections for our community. We won’t be silenced — not now, not ever.
