AIDS United Convenes Southern REACH Partners (2014)

AIDS United will be holding a Southern REACH convening on September 9-10, 2014, in Raleigh, North Carolina. At this convening, CHLP's Legal Director, Ivan Espinoza-Madrigal, will be presenting in a workshop titled, "Understanding the HIV Epidemic in the South within the Context of Racial Justice." This workshop will address the disproportionate impact of the HIV epidemic on people of color in the South; explore ways to tackle racial inequities; and provide strategies to strengthen the racial justice analysis in HIV-related work streams.
