At a time when people are searching for consistent, reliable guidance on best responses to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), this fact sheet from CHLPI provides a very useful review of the evolving policy landscape and opportunities for federal, state, and local governments to respond, includ- ing ensuring access to needed health care. Whatever the response, we must remain on guard against knee-jerk legislative and regulatory increases in executive and police powers that do nothing to protect our communities.
